OREANDA-NEWS  In April, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar completely stopped supplying liquefied natural gas (LNG) to India against the background of the Middle East conflict, RIA Novosti found out after studying the data of the Indian civil service.

So, in April, the UAE did not supply gas to India, as well as Qatar. At the same time, the countries were among the five largest LNG exporters to the Indian market and have been continuously supplying New Delhi with blue fuel since the beginning of this year.

The UAE exported $438.7 thousand worth of LNG to India in January-March, while Qatar exported $879.8 thousand.
As for April, Nigeria (386.3 thousand dollars), Oman (272.7 thousand dollars) and the USA (189.6 thousand dollars) became the main suppliers of gas to India.

In total, Indian LNG imports rose to $1.2 million in April from 970.9 thousand in March.
