The UAE's withdrawal from OPEC has not stopped the rise in global oil prices

OREANDA-NEWS Global oil prices have been rising significantly for the third day in a row amid stalled negotiations between the United States and Iran. A barrel of Brent rose in price on April 29 to the highest in a month, rising above $ 115 for the first time since March 30. By the time of writing, its value had increased by 3.6 percent, to $115.27.
Thus, yesterday's announcement by the UAE to withdraw from the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), which is expected to push prices down, has not even stopped their growth yet.
In three days, hydrocarbons have already risen in price by about 10 percent, which confirms the assessment of Tamas Varga, a representative of PVM Oil Associates, an oil broker, who previously noted that "prices can only move in one direction now."
