OREANDA-NEWS. October 06, 2016. Fox Networks Group (FNG) today announced that Brendan Ripp has been appointed Executive Vice President, National Geographic Sales and Partnerships.

In this newly created role, Ripp will oversee National Geographic Partners’ brand revenue across all platforms of its business, including National Geographic Channels, as well as digital, social, mobile and print. Ripp, who will join the company November 1, reporting to FNG Executive Vice President of Global Partnerships Danielle Maged, will also lead the National Geographic Advertising Sales and Client Solutions’ teams.

Ripp will join FNG from Time Inc. Sales and Marketing, where he served as President of Technology, Telecommunications and Finance Verticals, leading the company’s new advertising sales go-to-market strategy in the category. Earlier, he was the Group Publisher of the Sports Illustrated Group, where he led the development of nearly two dozen brand extensions, including a film production unit, a college sports vertical, and SI Overtime, a branded content studio. Ripp also previously held roles at Fortune, Time and Money. Ripp earned a BA in international business management and economics from Gettysburg College.
