OREANDA-NEWS  The Canadian company for the production of outerwear and sportswear Helly Hansen is leaving the Russian market. This is reported by the newspaper Vedomosti with reference to the new owners of the Canadian daughter in Russia.

At the end of August, CEO Igor Roganovich and lawyer Andrey Karasev acquired Helly Hansen LLC from Helly Hansen Russia AS, in October the company received a new name — Retail RC.

Roganovich clarified that currently there are six outlets in Russia under the name "Hansen". It is assumed that the products in them will end in 2-3 months. Retail RC plans to create a network of multi-brand sportswear stores under the Move brand. The first such outlets will open in the Moscow shopping centers "Europolis Rostokino" and "Golden Babylon".

The businessman said that the new stores will feature clothing from Nike, Adidas, Puma, Mont, Kronos, Geox, Under Armor. Clothes of these brands stopped being imported to Russia a few weeks ago, Roganovich did not explain how their delivery would be carried out.

Most of the Helly Hansen stores have closed or will be closed after the sale of stocks of goods, consultants who worked with the company shared with Vedomosti.

Helly Hansen announced the suspension of its online store in Russia after the start of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine. Deliveries of products to Russian stores have been suspended, the brand's website on the territory of the Russian Federation is currently unavailable.
