OREANDA-NEWS Due to the difficulties of leaving the Russian market, the French company Danone is going to at least abandon the use of global brands, and as a replacement for Activia and Aktimel, it is considering the options "Let's take it easy" and "Delicious. Useful. It's a deal," the Telegram channel Mash reports.

According to the publication, the rebranding will take place in the coming months, although the names may still change. Earlier, the Danone brand was included in the Prostokvashino brand according to the same scheme.

Prior to that, the manufacturer's desire to separate the Russian product line from the world was reported by Izvestia. The corporation confirmed the information, indicating that they are exploring opportunities to make brands "more relevant to the local market."

In October last year, Danone announced its desire to transfer control over the production of dairy products and herbal beverages in Russia. Several Russian companies were named as potential buyers of Danone assets.

At the same time, according to Kommersant, the manufacturer is going to include a buyback option in the transaction for the transfer of control in the Russian business, as a number of other foreign companies, including Renault and McDonald's, have already done.
