OREANDA-NEWS  Russians were noticeably more likely to buy winter clothes in 2025: for example, the demand for hats doubled, and almost the same amount for winter shoes, Atol analysts calculated for RIA Novosti.

"On average, mittens were purchased for 490 rubles, which is 17% lower than last year. At the same time, the demand for them increased by 11%. Gloves were bought for an average of 538 rubles, which is 16% cheaper than a year earlier, and the number of sales increased by 35%. A similar decrease in the average receipt was recorded in the category of winter hats - by 16%, to 567 rubles, while demand for them doubled, analysts concluded after conducting a study of anonymized sales data from January 1 to December 25 last year.

The only category where a positive price trend was recorded was winter boots. Their average cost increased by 5% to 2,261 rubles, while demand for this category increased by 76%.
