OREANDA-NEWS  France has become the largest supplier of perfumes to the Russian market among the EU countries, depriving Italy of the first place, RIA Novosti found out after analyzing data from Eurostat.

In February, Russian companies imported 6.7 million euros worth of French perfumes, and 3.5 million euros worth of Italian perfumes. As a result, Italy lost its place as the largest perfume supplier in Russia, dropping immediately to third place.

Spain became the second largest European supplier of perfumes to the Russian market, with exports jumping 1.4 times in a month to 5.3 million euros. Lithuania (3 million euros) and Latvia (2.7 million euros) also entered the top 5.
