OREANDA-NEWS The German Embassy in Russia resumed issuing all types of visas to Russians, ATOR reported. It is possible to apply for a visa through Visa Metric centers, Gazeta.ru reports.

At the moment, there are no direct flights from Russia to Germany. One can get there by plane of foreign airlines with a connection. Fares start from 60 thousand rubles per person per way with a flight to Germany in July.

Earlier, Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs had suggested extending the ban on the granting of national Schengen visas and residence permits to the citizens of Russia and Belarus.

Ministerial document was sent to a number of Czech governmental agencies for approval. After that it will be submitted to the Government of the country.

In late February, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Perth Fiala said that Prague stopped issuing visas and canceled issuance of residence permits for Russian citizens. ATOR previously reported that Italy, Greece, France, Spain, Austria, Hungary, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway and Slovenia still provide Schengen visas for Russian citizens.
