OREANDA-NEWS Roskachestvo employees found counterfeit cheese in half of the tested Margarita pizzas in well-known Russian retail chains and pizzerias. This is reported by Izvestia with reference to the results of a study by the Consumer Behavior Research Center (CIPP).

Experts have tested products in chain pizzerias, delivery services, as well as in retail chains. They revealed signs of falsification in the products of nine brands: "Chef-Crossroads", "Empire of Pizza", "Mnogolososya", Pizza Hut, "Caesar", "Cheese Factory", Dostaevsky, La Trattoria, PizzasSushiWok. These brands sold products with cheese, although in fact it contained vegetable fats that were not indicated on the label.

At the same time, cases of falsification were recorded in all types of pizzas — in freshly prepared, frozen and chilled semi-finished products. The closest composition to the requirements of GOST for milk and dairy products was for cheese pizzas Spar, Papa John's, "Scooter", "Hello! Pizza" , Ozon fresh, "Dodo Pizza", Domino's, "Vkusville" and Il Patio.

In mid-August, Genotek analysts and VNIRO employees presented the results of a joint study, according to which chicken meat began to be sold under the guise of turtle meat in Sochi, Adler and Krasnodar Krai.
