OREANDA-NEWS   One of the world's largest suppliers of agricultural products, American trader Cargill will stop exporting grain from Russia.

The Russian subsidiary of the corporation will stop exporting grain in the next agricultural year (it will begin on July 1, 2023 and last until June 30, 2024). She informed Deputy Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut about her decision.

Cargill promised that the shipments planned for the current season will be completed in full. It was also announced intentions to review the portfolio of assets related to grain exports.

The press service of the Ministry of Agriculture confirmed that they had received a notification from the company.

Earlier it became known that the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia will develop measures to stabilize prices for grain transportation and prepare a mechanism for regulating the cost of transport services.
