OREANDA-NEWS   By the end of 2022, plumbing has risen in price by 30 percent in Russia. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the regional director of Vitra Denis Gass.

The expert clarified that, on average, toilets with installations began to cost 22 thousand rubles, sinks and bathrooms — 20 thousand rubles each. As for the faucets, you will have to pay 10 thousand rubles for them.

The expert explained the increase in prices by the violation of supply chains from Europe, where Russian producers bought white and light-hardening clay. As a result, they had to look for other suppliers. Among the reasons for the rise in price of goods, an increase in the cost of brass and steel was indicated, as well as the departure of European brands.

Earlier it became known that in Russia in 2022, iodine rose the most in price. Its average cost for the year increased by 55.2 percent. In addition, prices for goods such as soap and pads have risen in the country.
