Putin announced the imminent exit of suppliers from Uzbekistan to Ozon

OREANDA-NEWS Suppliers from Uzbekistan will soon be able to enter the Russian Ozon marketplace, the volume of their trade on Wildberries showed an increase of 93%, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"E-commerce is developing rapidly. Thus, by the end of 2023, the total volume of Uzbek sellers' products traded on the Russian Wildberries Internet site increased by 93% and amounted to $ 418 million. In the near future, suppliers from Uzbekistan will be able to enter another large Russian marketplace Ozon," Putin said at a meeting of the Council of Regions of the Russian Federation and Uzbekistan.
He noted that more than three thousand enterprises with Russian participation are already operating in the Uzbek market - this is one in five of the companies operating in the country with foreign capital.
The high-level bilateral talks were held at the country residence of the President of Uzbekistan "Kuksaroy". The leaders first talked in a narrow format, and then the meeting continued in an expanded format with the participation of delegations from the two countries. In total, the Russian-Uzbek talks lasted about three hours.
