OREANDA-NEWS   Rosselkhoznadzor has resumed the supply of vegetables and fruits from 12 Moldovan enterprises since December 5, according to the agency's website. "The Russian consumer again has the opportunity to purchase high-quality and safe products that fully comply with the standards of the EAEU member states," the statement says.

In particular, the agency lifted restrictions from the enterprises Velfruct-Prim SRL, SRL Mira-Four and Bio product group SRL.
The Rosselkhoznadzor made this decision after analyzing the products coming into the country from Moldovan producers, for which the agency had previously lifted temporary restrictions.

"Today, the Rosselkhoznadzor notes with satisfaction the stable phytosanitary status of incoming fruit and vegetable products, which became possible thanks to the coordinating work between the competent authorities of the two countries," the statement emphasizes. The ministry also recalled that temporary restrictions on the import of quarantined products from Moldova were introduced on August 15 this year.

On December 1, Leonid Slutsky, chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, told RIA Novosti that after a meeting with representatives of the Shor party, he would contact the Rosselkhoznadzor with a proposal to lift restrictions on the supply of vegetables and fruits from Moldova. On the same day, the ministry announced the resumption of the import of products from 20 foreign enterprises from December 2.
