OREANDA-NEWS Russia has increased trade turnover with China for 2 months of 2023 by 25.9% year-on-year and exceeded $33.68 billion. This was stated in the Main Customs Administration of the People's Republic of China.

Exports from China to Russia increased by 19.8% in two months and amounted to about $15.03 billion.

As specified, imports of Russian goods and services increased by 31.3% to about $18.65 billion.

It is also clarified that the positive balance of the Russian Federation from January to February reached $ 3.62 billion.

At the same time, it is clarified that the bulk of the cost of goods imported from Russia to China falls on oil, natural gas and coal.

The trade turnover between Russia and China increased by 35.8% in 2021, and by 29.3% in 2022.

Earlier it became known that China has become the leader in the import of new passenger cars to Russia.

Also, the US Federal Communications Commission has banned the import of equipment from a number of companies from China.
