OREANDA-NEWS  The supply of Ararat brandy to Russia continues and will continue, Ernest Khachaturian, executive director of a major importer of alcohol Luding Group, said in a conversation with RIA Novosti.

"Russia without Ararat, and Ararat without Russia — I don't see this," he estimated. The manufacturer complies with the existing contracts, and in case of a change in the situation, importers will look for options.

The top manager reassured the citizens, explaining that the French manufacturer Pernod Ricard (he owns the Ararat brandy brand) is unlikely to stop deliveries, since he has been building relations with Russia and Armenia for a long time.

Earlier, the Luding Group has already indicated that they did not receive notifications about the suspension of cooperation with the brand. Armenian Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan said on May 19 that the Yerevan Brandy Factory, which produces Ararat brandy, will stop supplying alcohol to Russia. "I have not received official information yet, but it seems that it is already official that the Yerevan Brandy Factory will stop exporting to Russia," he said.
