OREANDA-NEWS Russia has added to the list of goods allowed for parallel import. The relevant order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade is posted on the legal information portal.
Fans of Spanish brands Soler have been added to the list of goods allowed for import without the approval of the copyright holder & Palau and the Italian Vortice, Air System compressors and mining equipment Dewalt, Epiroc and Husqvarna. The agency also introduced a number of exceptions for cosmetics, perfumes and clothing.
Earlier, the Ministry of Industry and Trade announced the extension of the parallel import program for 2024. According to the head of the department Denis Manturov, the mechanism of the program will be adjusted, and the list of goods approved for delivery will gradually decrease as domestic companies reach the required production volumes.
According to the secretary of the Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, parallel imports, which began operating in Russia in the spring of 2022, have fulfilled their role and now began to interfere with the introduction of domestic developments. Due to the availability of imports, Russian companies prefer to purchase foreign goods without conducting their own "promising developments" and without using "the scientific and technical potential available in the country." At the same time, it has not yet been possible to solve all the tasks of achieving technological independence, he admitted.
