OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian government has imposed duties on the import of personal hygiene products, such as shampoos, toothpaste, as well as weapons from unfriendly countries. The fees were set at 35%. The document is published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

"To approve, by December 31, 2023, inclusive, the attached rates of import customs duties in respect of certain goods, the country of origin of which are states and territories taking measures that violate the economic interests of the Russian Federation, other than the rates of the single customs tariff of the Eurasian Economic Union," the resolution says.

Duties apply to shampoos, hair and teeth cleaning products, products used before and after shaving, deodorants, as well as detergents and cleaning products.

Among the weapons and ammunition in the list: smoothbore single-barreled weapons, sports, hunting rifles, devices for launching flares, pistols and revolvers for firing blanks, bullets for pneumatic weapons.
