Russia has increased the purchase of beer from Poland to a record

OREANDA-NEWS Beer shipments to Russia from Poland increased five and a half times year-on-year in July, to a record, while shipments from the EU as a whole decreased by 44%, according to Eurostat data analyzed by RIA Novosti.
So, in July of this year, the European Union exported 4.2 million euros worth of beer to Russia, which was the highest since September last year (almost 5 million). The volume of shipments increased by 3% on a monthly basis, and decreased by 44% on an annual basis.
Poland remained the main supplier, it continued to increase exports to Russia, increasing it by 44% in July and by 5.5 times in annual terms. As a result, shipments reached 3.3 million euros, the highest for the entire time that the countries have been trading.
In addition, beer in Russia came from the Czech Republic - 403 thousand euros, Belgium - 166 thousands Latvia - 134 thousand, Germany - 114 thousand and Lithuania - to 106 thousand.
