OREANDA-NEWS From January to August, wine supplies from Georgia to Russia increased by 22.7 percent in annual terms and amounted to 41.3 thousand tons. This is evidenced by the data of the National Statistics Service (Geostat).

In monetary terms, the indicator reached the level of $ 112.1 million. During the same period of 2022, a total of 33.6 thousand tons worth $ 90.3 million were delivered from Georgia to Russia. In the total volume of exports of goods to the Russian Federation, the share of Georgian wine amounted to almost a quarter — 24.2 percent, the report of the department's analysts clarifies.

From January to August, deliveries of ferroalloys to Russia amounted to 36.2 thousand tons. For comparison: in the same period of 2022, the indicator was 50.8 thousand. The volume of exports of Georgian mineral water, as well as carbonated beverages containing sugar, on the contrary, increased by more than one and a half times and exceeded the mark of 132 thousand tons.
