OREANDA-NEWS  In January, Russia increased shrimp supplies to South Korea to a maximum of $54 million since the end of 2023, according to an analysis by RIA Novosti of South Korean statistics.

So, at the beginning of this year, Russia exported 2,000 tons of shrimp, which is twice as much as a year earlier. The value of these exports amounted to 54 million dollars compared to 33.8 million in January last year.

The last time the cost was higher was in December 2023 - 63.2 million dollars, but the volume of supplies was slightly higher - 2.4 thousand tons.

In general, Russia shipped 24.7 thousand tons of fish and seafood worth 102.9 million dollars in January, while a year earlier shipments totaled 21 thousand tons worth 66.9 million dollars.
