Sakhalin producers want to keep the price of red caviar

"If we take the 30,000 or so tons that science predicts for us, I think the price should remain within the price policy of the previous year," said the head of the industry association.
According to Kozlov, in 2025, red caviar cost in the range of 8-9 thousand rubles per 1 kilogram, and this year we can count on such a price. However, if the actual salmon production in the region is lower than the projected volume, the price will change.
"I hope that here 8-9 thousand rubles – this price will still be able to stay," Kozlov said.
The head of the Ministry of Fisheries of the Sakhalin Region, Ivan Radchenko, said at the same press conference that this year, according to scientists, island fishermen will be able to harvest 34 thousand tons of Pacific salmon.
