OREANDA-NEWS  The international logistics operator SDEK plans to launch a super urgent delivery service within a day in Russia with one of the largest airlines, the head of the mainline air transportation department of the company, Ulyana Burova, told RIA Novosti.

"Now we are planning a joint project with one of the largest airlines in Russia on super urgent cargo delivery. For the first time, we are implementing a pilot for 5 cities for delivery during the day, depending on time zones, of course. Such delivery will be comparable to the fact that you handed over to the passenger of the plane what you need to transfer urgently," she said.

Specifying that as part of such a delivery, the cargo will be picked up, brought and delivered "directly into the hands", however, the company has not yet disclosed the partner airline and pilot cities.

"Now we have such a portfolio of tariffs, according to which any company, any person can choose the appropriate delivery parameters: someone can wait one day, and someone always needs urgently. Someone does not think at all about the price, the main thing is that it should be tomorrow, and there are "fast" tariffs for such people," Burova added.
