OREANDA-NEWS If in the first decade of April 2025, Russian wheat was shipped to 14 countries, then in the same period of this year the corresponding figure fell to 11. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the Russian Grain Union (RZS).

According to this organization, from April 1 to April 10, Russia exported almost 1.1 million tons of wheat. Thus, last year's figure was exceeded by 1.4 times. According to Elena Tyurina, director of the union's analytical department, exports of all major grain crops increased 1.6 times, to 1.2 million tons.

In the first decade of April, shipments to Egypt increased 4.1 times, to 172 thousand tons from 42 thousand tons, and to Turkey — 1.6 times, to 146.5 thousand tons. Shipments to Kenya have more than quadrupled, reaching 146 thousand tons. However, wheat exports to Israel have seriously declined. It fell 2.6 times to 22.5 thousand tons.

In March, Russian wheat exports increased 2.1 times compared to the first month of spring in 2025 and reached 4.6 million tons. Shipments to Egypt increased 2.7 times, and to Turkey — 3.3 times.
