OREANDA-NEWS  As part of the new sanctions package against Russia, it is proposed to impose a complete ban on the import of a number of fish products, including cod, said the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

"We propose to introduce significant restrictions on the import of certain types of fish products and a complete ban on the import of others, including cod," she said at a briefing, announcing proposals for the 21st package of sanctions against Russia.

According to her, trade restrictions with Belarus will be adjusted in accordance with the new restrictions.
