OREANDA-NEWS  The head of Rosmolodezh, Grigory Gurov, proposed to import the Labuba toy. The corresponding post appeared on his Telegram channel.

Gurov believes that this doll has become popular due to aggressive marketing and artificial scarcity. In this regard, he suggested replacing the "Labuba" with key rings with Russian cartoon characters. "I suggest that all fashionistas remove the Labuba from their bags and return our Cheburashka there — and may the good always be on trend!" he said.

At the same time, Gurov noted that there is no need to ban the "Labuba". Instead, he advised Russians to participate in the "Native Toy" contest, which is currently being held under the leadership of Presidential aide Elena Yampolskaya.

Earlier it was reported that the deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee for the protection of the family, Tatyana Butskaya, was outraged because of the Labubu toys.
