OREANDA-NEWS  Progress in the implementation of the food deal between Russia and the UN on the export of Russian products has not been achieved, Russian Ambassador to Turkey Alexey Yerkhov said on January 12, the Yeni Şafak newspaper reports.

He noted that Moscow records distortions in the geographical distribution among the recipients of food exported from the Ukrainian territory. According to the Ambassador, since the beginning of the special operation, 17 million tons of grain have been exported from Ukraine.

Yerkhov stressed that Russia does not see any positive changes in the situation with Russian agricultural products. The diplomat added that manufacturers and suppliers from the Russian Federation continue to suffer from blocking bank payments, extremely inflated tariff fears and bans on access to ports.

As reported by IA REGNUM, on January 10, the Dawn newspaper spread information that a ship arrived in Pakistan, on which 60 thousand tons of wheat arrived from Russia.
