OREANDA-NEWS  The physical volume of Russian imports in 2022 decreased by 16 percent due to the loss of some European partners. Such data was disclosed by the first deputy head of the Federal Customs Service (FCS) Ruslan Davydov.

At the same time, the structure of exports and imports did not change significantly last year. The largest trade turnover was recorded with China, Turkey, the Netherlands, Germany and Belarus.

Trade volumes with China increased by 28 percent, with Turkey — by 84 percent, with Belarus — by 10 percent, and with the Netherlands and Germany, on the contrary, decreased by 0.1 and 23 percent, respectively.

Earlier, Gazprom reported that in 2022 it delivered 100.9 billion cubic meters of fuel to non—CIS countries - 46 percent less compared to 2021. This is the minimum level since 1990 (then it was 110 billion cubic meters). In addition, Gazprom's fuel production has decreased to 412.6 billion cubic meters this year. This is 20 percent less than in 2021 and is the lowest figure since at least 2008.
