Thus, the NAMI Research Automobile and Automotive Institute has created a GOST project that provides for the conversion of conventional cars with internal combustion engines into electric cars.
The document states that if the manufacturer has once certified a car that has been converted into an electric car, then it will receive the right to produce a similar model on an industrial scale.
Earlier, from a survey by Renaissance Insurance Group and Avito Auto, it became known that almost every third Russian wants to turn his car into an electric car. Most of all, such a transition interested young people under the age of 24.
