OREANDA-NEWS  In Moscow, they are creating a situation center for personal mobility equipment (SIM), which will monitor the congestion of bike parks and the safety of riding electric scooters. This was announced by the deputy head of the Center for Traffic Management (TSODD) Magomed Kolgaev.

According to him, the center based on the data center will work around the clock throughout the cycling season. He called ensuring the safety of users of electric scooters the main task of the new structure.

The center will also analyze the congestion of urban bike parks, look for new places for them, work "with slow zones," Kolgaev said.

The City Department of Transport is already preparing for the start of the season of electric scooters and bicycles, it will begin in a few weeks, when the weather permits, said Deputy head of the department Alexey Mityaev. Officials are still checking the cleanliness of rolling wheeled vehicles and parking infrastructure and are considering whether it is necessary to increase the number of parking lots for SIM.
