OREANDA-NEWS  A group of climbers that has stopped contacting, including two citizens of Belarus, is being searched in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti.

"In Kyrgyzstan, a group of climbers consisting of three people, two of whom are citizens of Belarus, stopped contacting after climbing Kurumdy Peak (Pamir-Alai and Zaalaysky (Chon-Alai) ridge along the Northern Ridge). Search operations are underway," the Foreign Ministry said.

They stressed that the Embassy of Belarus in Kyrgyzstan is in constant contact with local authorities and relatives of the missing Belarusians.
