OREANDA-NEWS The record maximum air temperature was recorded in Simferopol on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Crimean Hydrometeorological Center told RIA Novosti.

"On the afternoon of January 6 (in Simferopol - ed.), the absolute maximum was blocked by 0.2 degrees: the previous one was 15.7 degrees in 1931, and now it is 15.9 degrees," the Hydrometeorological Center told the agency.

In addition, according to forecasters, the absolute maximum heat was also blocked on Wednesday, when the daytime air temperature reached 17.8 degrees, which is 2.2 degrees higher than in 1994.
