OREANDA-NEWS  A powerful 5.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Japan. This is reported on the website of the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).

The tremors occurred on the island of Shikoku at 18:07 local time (12:07 GMT). The epicenter was located 98 kilometers south of the area called Nakamura, which has a population of about 34.5 thousand people. The source was located at a depth of 10 kilometers. Information about damage and casualties as a result of the disaster has not yet been received.
