OREANDA-NEWS Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev refused to personally attend the summit of the European Political Community in Yerevan, which was attended by Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky, but will speak via video link. This is reported in the Telegram edition of Minval.

"Aliev will join the 8th summit of the European Political Community in Yerevan via video link today," the publication says.

It is noted that the Azerbaijani leader will deliver a video message to the summit participants. At the same time, at the end of October 2025, Baku officially announced that Aliyev would not take part in the Yerevan summit of the European Political Community.

Earlier, Aliev said at a press conference with Zelensky that Azerbaijan allows joint production of military-industrial complex products with Ukraine. He added that Baku and Kiev have "excellent opportunities" for joint production.
