OREANDA-NEWS  The volume of production of sports equipment and equipment in Russia exceeded 25 billion rubles by the end of last year, while the domestic market is estimated at 63 billion rubles, Anton Alikhanov, head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, told RIA Novosti in an interview with SPIEF 2026.

"The volume of domestic production of sports equipment and equipment by the end of 2025 exceeded 25 billion rubles.. The volume of the Russian market for such goods as a whole in 2025 is estimated at 63 billion rubles," the minister said.

He added that in Russia, the main efforts in the sports equipment and equipment industry are currently focused on expanding priorities for Russian manufacturers in the framework of state and municipal procurement. Also, one of the key areas is the creation of domestic production for high-performance sports.
