OREANDA-NEWS  Almost a ton of illegal Kamchatka crab has been found, which was processed in a workshop in Dolgoprudny near Moscow and sold in restaurants and cafes in Moscow, said Irina Volk, a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

More than 900 kilograms of Kamchatka crab without special labeling worth over 21 million rubles were seized. A video is shown in which a suspect in the manufacture and sale of a crab is laid on the floor in an apartment, and a container containing a batch of seafood is opened.

The crab was transferred to the responsible storage of representatives of the Moscow-Oka Territorial Administration of the Federal Agency for Fisheries for expert examination. A criminal case has been opened under part 4 of Article 171.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The defendant was charged and a preventive measure was chosen in the form of a subscription not to leave and proper behavior.

Earlier, pasta was found in a Moscow restaurant for 34.7 thousand rubles. The spaghetti is designed for two people, as indicated in the menu. It turns out that a serving per person will cost 17,350 rubles. At the same time, the cost of other types of pasta, including shrimp or Kamchatka crab, does not exceed four thousand rubles.
