OREANDA-NEWS In the first five months of 2026, Russia supplied $418 million worth of fish and seafood to South Korea. These data from the analytical center of the Fish Union were quoted by Prime.

Compared to the results for the same period last year, exports increased by 4 percent in physical terms and by 12 percent in monetary terms. In total, South Korea purchased 117 thousand tons of these products.

In the first four months of 2026, Russian fish and seafood exports to China increased by 13 percent in physical terms and 46 percent in monetary terms. We are talking about 550 thousand tons, for which China paid 1.6 billion dollars.

In the first quarter of 2026, exports from Russia to the European Union of freshly frozen pollock fillets increased by 15 percent in weight and 25 percent in value compared to the same period in 2025.
