OREANDA-NEWS Google has introduced the Quick Share feature on Android, which allows you to share files with iPhone users. This is stated in the developers' blog.

The AirDrop feature is only available on Apple devices, it allows you to share files over the air in touch. Google engineers said they have found a way to connect to AirDrop and share media content and other documents between iOS and Android without restrictions.

Apparently, Google was working on the new feature without Apple's involvement. It is unknown how the iPhone manufacturer will actually react to the hacking of its technology. Google's blog clarifies that the cross-platform Quick Share feature currently works on Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Fold smartphones.

The article notes that to receive files from the iPhone, users of Android devices need to set the visibility settings of their device for 10 minutes. All documents will be saved in the Files application. In the near future, support for the cross-platform Quick Share feature should appear on other Android smartphones.

Earlier, Ookla experts said that the Internet speed in the iPhone 17 was 40 percent higher than in other Apple smartphones. The upgrade was linked to the new N1 coprocessor.
