OREANDA-NEWS The European launch operator ArianeGroup will replace its CEO from Martin Sion to Christophe Bruno, according to the European Spaceflight portal.

Since 2020, Bruno has served as Executive Vice President and General Director of the Military Engines Division at Safran Aircraft Engines. The new head of ArianeGroup will take up his duties on April 1. The portal reminds that in October, Zion decided not to renew his work contract.

In October last year, in an interview with Agence France-Presse, the head of the European Space Agency, Josef Aschbacher, said that Europe urgently needs its own reusable rocket.

In September, the European Spaceflight portal reported that ArianeGroup had signed a contract with MT Aerospace to supply components for 27 Ariane 6 rockets.
