OREANDA-NEWS Armenia intends to increase exports of its products to the EU 4-5 times by the end of the year, Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan told reporters on Monday.

"The Ministry of Economy has presented programs to support exports to the EU and the Middle East. In other words, this is compensation for transportation costs and customs duties. We will pursue a more aggressive policy. Exports to the European Union have doubled, but we are acting even more aggressively and intend to increase it four to five times by the end of the year," Papoyan said.

He specified that Armenia plans to supply fruits, vegetables, and manufacturing products to EU countries.
