OREANDA-NEWS   AvtoVAZ expects sales of new Lada cars to decrease by more than 15% of the planned volume by the end of February, and hopes to sell just over 20,000 cars, Maxim Sokolov, president of the company, told reporters on the sidelines of the Russian Business Week forum.

"We went through January in about the same way, maybe even a little worse than January 2025, and February is also moving along a lower, conservative trajectory today. We have already adjusted our sales plans for February, and we have adjusted them significantly - at least by 15%. But even with this adjustment, we are not reaching our planned sales trajectory today," he said.

"I hope it's more than 20 thousand," Sokolov outlined expectations from the sales results of the new Lada in February.
