OREANDA-NEWS  Brussels will send to Ukraine a batch of 105 mm artillery shells worth more than 32 million euros, the Belgian Defense Ministry said. The agency's message is transmitted by Reuters.

The ministry noted that the shells will be purchased by the government from Belgian defense enterprises and delivered to the Ukrainian side as soon as possible.

Earlier it became known that Belgium has already trained 700 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and will soon begin training Ukrainian pilots.

Prior to that, the Belgian Defense Ministry confirmed its intention to continue supplying weapons to Ukraine even while waiting for a response regarding the use of Belgian equipment during the sabotage in the Belgorod region.
