OREANDA-NEWS  British Ambassador to Ukraine Neil Crompton called for preparations for a Russian attack on NATO, calling it one of the possible scenarios. His words are reported by RBC-Ukraine.

"I mean, this is one of the scenarios, and it's being discussed a lot. But, of course, we should not be naive, and we should not only prepare for such unforeseen situations, but also prevent them," he said.

According to him, it is now "not easy for London to deal with Russia," and in the event of a Russian attack, NATO "has a good, coordinated plan."

Earlier, Rainer Sachs, the former head of Estonia's Foreign Intelligence Service, assessed the possibility of a Russian attack on the alliance. He called such a development unlikely, but admitted that Russia "could do something."
