OREANDA-NEWS  The Central African Republic (CAR) is counting on deepening economic cooperation with Russia, Chairman of the Economic and Social Council of the Central African Republic Alfred Poloko told RIA Novosti.

"We are counting on very close economic cooperation that would help stabilize the country", - Poloko said in a conversation with the agency at the Public Headquarters for Election Observation in Moscow.

Poloko added that Moscow and Bangui could strengthen cooperation in the field of transport development.
