China has made a statement about Iran's development of nuclear weapons

OREANDA-NEWS Iran is not developing nuclear weapons. This was stated by the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Mao Ning, according to TASS.
"We note that Iran has repeatedly confirmed its lack of intentions to develop nuclear weapons, and has recently conducted serious and sincere negotiations with the United States," she said.
The representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry stressed that Beijing calls for an immediate end to the attacks by the United States and Israel on the territory of the Islamic Republic.
She also recalled that the United States and Israel attacked Iran during the negotiation process, violating the norms of international law.
Earlier, Mao Ning said that the United States had not informed China about the start of a military operation against Iran. The diplomat noted that Beijing is deeply concerned that the spread of hostilities has affected other countries in the Middle East region.
