Cyclone from China will bring 30-degree frosts to Russia

OREANDA-NEWS A cyclone from China will bring gale force winds and frosts reaching 30 degrees to a part of the Far Eastern Federal District (Far Eastern Federal District). This was reported by weather forecasters of the Hydrometeorological Center.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, March 11 and 12, heavy snow with winds of 25-30 meters per second will pass in the southern half of the Trans-Baikal Territory. Until March 14, the temperature will drop to minus 22-27 degrees at night, and to minus 32 degrees in the northern half of the region. At the same time, it will get significantly warmer during the day — the air will warm up to zero to minus 6 degrees.
On Tuesday, the cyclone will move through the Amur region. Heavy snow with wind gusts up to 15-20 meters per second is expected in the south of the region. By the night of Thursday, March 14, the temperature will reach minus 9-14 degrees, in some places up to minus degrees. On the afternoon of March 12, temperatures are expected to range from zero to minus 5 degrees, in some places up to minus 25. In the afternoon, the temperature will drop from zero to minus 5 degrees on March 12, minus 2-7 degrees is expected on March 14, in some places up to minus 10-15 degrees.
The cyclone will be in the Khabarovsk Territory from March 12 to March 14. It will also be snowy, with gusty winds. The minimum temperature will reach minus 13 degrees at night. Bad weather will affect the southern regions of Sakhalin on Thursday and Friday, March 13 and 14. Very heavy precipitation in the form of snow and sleet, ice, and wind gusts of up to 23 meters per second are expected there.
The cyclone will bring rain and wind strengthening up to 15-20 meters per second to the Kuril Islands, followed by precipitation. Gusty winds of up to 20 meters per second are expected in the Kamchatka Territory.
Earlier, Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, promised Muscovites April warmth in March. The abnormal heat will last until the weekend.
