Russian Daniil Medvedev has risen one place in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), an updated version of which was published on Monday on the organization's website.

He is now ranked ninth.

Last week, Medvedev competed at the Masters tournament in Madrid, where he was eliminated in the fourth round.

The winner of the Madrid tournament, Yannick Sinner (Italy), retained the first place, while finalist Alexander Zverev (Germany) took the third place. Carlos Alcaraz (Spain), who missed the tournament due to injury, is still between them.
