De Gaulle urges France to join BRICS

OREANDA-NEWS France should join BRICS. This was stated to TASS by the grandson of French President General Charles de Gaulle, President of the Foundation for Peace and Friendship between Peoples Pierre de Gaulle.
According to him, France should rely on a multipolar world. The accession of Paris to the interstate union will ensure a democratic balance of power, the humanitarian noted.
De Gaulle also believes that France should completely reconsider relations with the United States. He pointed out that the current White House administration has become aggressive and unpredictable in its attempts to control every country.
Earlier, de Gaulle said that France should "regain its role" by withdrawing from the joint command of the alliance, as in 1966. He stressed that over time, the alliance "radically changed its role," becoming an instrument of hegemonic conquest under the pretext of ensuring security.
