OREANDA-NEWS A terrorist attack planned by five foreigners was prevented in Alma Ata, the press service of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan reported.

"In September 2025, the National Security Committee in Almaty prevented a terrorist attack planned by five foreign citizens at the preparatory stage," the release says.

All the suspects were taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing, the committee added.
