OREANDA-NEWS  Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan turned his plane around when he learned about the participation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a peace summit in Egypt to resolve the conflict between Israel and the Islamist radical group Hamas. This is reported by the Turkish newspaper Milliyet.

According to the publication, Erdogan's presidential airliner was ready to land in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, but at the last moment the Turkish leader ordered the aircraft to be deployed.

Earlier, Erdogan said that Netanyahu is ideologically very close to Hitler. He called for associating Zionism with terrorism and fascism.
