OREANDA-NEWS Euroclear International depository declined to comment to RIA Novosti on the possible consequences of a series of lawsuits against the company in Russia, limiting itself to a previously published official statement.

"We actually do not comment on anything beyond the statement, which, in fact, answers your question," a Euroclear representative told the agency in response to a request for comment on the possible impact of Russian court decisions on the company's operations and work with frozen Russian assets.

The agency's interlocutor recalled that Euroclear had already announced its intention to challenge the decision of the Moscow Arbitration Court in favor of the Bank of Russia in a lawsuit against Euroclear Bank.
